License Information – General Contractor
In Florida, a General Contractor’s license qualifies you to construct, repair, remodel, demolish, or improve any building or structure without limit as to the scope of work. For example, with a CGC license you can build a single-family home, a small commercial warehouse, a three-story office building, or a high-rise condo. The sky is the limit! In fact, the tallest building in Florida, a 64-story hotel in Miami, attempts to reach just that. Is this the license for you?
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor and Statistics, the average General Contractor in Florida earns nearly $100,000 annually.Learn more about license requirements
